Dan and Kelly met as members of Singers on the Grand, and when they had the opportunity to duet, they quickly came to the conclusion that it couldn’t be just a one-time collaboration! Their similar approach to performing and a shared love of singing jazz standards led to the formation of Clique in 2016. The duo performs at local events, pubs, eateries, senior centers, and outdoor park concerts, as well as out in front of Lansing Concert Band’s jazz big band as featured vocalists. About us

Kelly Sandula-Gruner’s music career began at age 4 with piano lessons, and at age 11, she fell in love with the French horn! Music gave her the opportunity to travel extensively: tours have taken her through the United States, including Hawaii; China, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and France. Kelly holds degrees in both music and commercial art, and currently works as a graphic designer. She is a long-time member of the Lansing Concert Band (horn), and featured vocalist with the LCB Jazz Big Band. She performs with Singers on the Grand, and local community theatres.

Dan Templin loves to entertain! He sings, acts and plays piano with several mid-Michigan performing arts organizations including Singers on the Grand, the LCB Jazz Big Band, and local community theatres. A fan of many musical genres, he was also a member of the Take Note barbershop quartet of Grand Ledge for many years. By day, Dan is an attorney.
